During the running time of »Database«, average portraits of the detected people were calculated on an hourly basis. The detected faces – or in case of the Contour Composites, the detected contours of each face – were stacked on top of each other, with a low opacity. On every full hour the stack was saved as an image and cleared for the next hour. The results were shown at the installations website in realtime and have been on display at the exhibition #watch22, in Mainz, Germany.
